Lamia El Kadiri, a pharmacist with more than ten years of experience in the industry, is the mastermind behind ROWSE. She develops every single formulation in our range in our in-house laboratory in Madrid. With a discerning eye for quality, she seeks out, sources, tests and blends the most effective natural ingredients and botanical actives to offer a collection of organic, plant-based essentials that respond to our community requests. Launching a new product is a collaborative creative process. It takes time, scientific knowledge and manufacturing expertise. Once the new formula is approved –that means, it’s clean, safe, cruelty-free and highly-effective– it’s ready to go into production. We have partnered with a small independent laboratory based in Spain to manufacture our products. With more than ten years of experience in manufacturing natural and organic cosmetics, it allows us to develop skin care formulas that deliver proven results and guarantees that all our products meet exceptional quality standards. From the ingredient sourcing to packaging and labelling, every single step of the process is aligned with ROWSE’s purpose: to make honest, natural and toxic-free cosmetics that help you take care of your skin without harming yourself or the environment.

To ensure our ingredients, scents and botanical actives perform at their best, all our formulations are produced in small batches. This is a way to preserve freshness, and allow us to avoid all kinds of toxics and synthetic preservatives. It also gives us the opportunity to individually test each batch and grants a sustainable approach by minimising waste and overproduction. It won’t ever be loads of stock stored up in our warehouse.
