Collection: Full Moon Night Essentials

For centuries, the full moon was intuition. Women knew it, felt it, even if they didn’t have a name for it. Today, science is beginning to confirm what the body has always known.
A study published in Current Biology found that in the days leading up to a full moon, people take longer to fall asleep, spend less time in deep sleep, and have lower levels of melatonin. It doesn’t matter whether they sleep in light or complete darkness. The cycle is written into our biology.

“During the full moon, the body enters a state of subtle wakefulness. More receptive. More exposed.”

And the skin feels it too. The skin barrier becomes more permeable, cellular activity increases, and the skin is more reactive than at any other point in the cycle. It’s no coincidence if your skin feels different that week.
