Les Jardins de ROWSE: Chapter III, with Casa Lurra & Hodei Studio

On refuge, simplicity, and the art of blending with nature.

In the Baix Ebre, among olive trees and carob branches, Araí and Mikel found what would become their refuge. An incredibly beautiful stone shelter, hidden among olive trees and a carob branch. With few resources, they transformed it into a home of earth tones and silence, a place of simplicity, honesty, and shelter. Today it is a home that breathes with the landscape, camouflaged in tones of earth, conceived as a gesture of simplicity and honesty.

Here, beauty is not about adding, but about subtracting. The uneven walls painted with natural pigments, the scent of rosemary carried by the wind, their daughter running barefoot in the field. For Araí, home is less a place than a rhythm: the silence of the countryside, the hardness of the soil, the cycle of the seasons that invites her to listen and to create.

Casa Lurra is also the beating heart of Hodei Studio, the multidisciplinary project where ceramics, teas, textiles, and intuitions take shape. Together with ROWSE, we created a limited-edition tablecloth, an object born from the same search for purity and connection that runs through every gesture of Hodei.

In this garden, we came together for a new ritual: a workshop with Longevity Makeup, a practice of touch, glow, and transformation. A reminder that beauty, like a house, is not something to be displayed, but something to be inhabited.

Every garden leaves us with a seed. At Casa Lurra, it was the certainty that to blend in with nature is not to disappear, but to belong.
